House rules

Respect all neighbors.
Please avoid noise after 21:00, out of respect for other guests.
Smoking is not allowed in the room.
One small pet per house is allowed.
(Please request in advance)
The pool may be used by all guests.
After each visit to the beach, wash sand thoroughly in the outdoor showers.
Keep sand out of the indoor showers.
The septic systems are not designed to pick up sand.
Use your own beach towels, leave ours on the lodge grounds.
DO NOT flush toilet paper down the toilet.
The pipes throughout Manzanillo can only accommodate human waste. There is a trash can next to each toilet for the paper.
This is true not only here, but throughout Talamanca (Manzanillo/Puerto Viejo/Cahuitaj) and in any store, restaurant or other place with a toilet, even if there is no sign there.
Please use the trash can for toilet paper.
Turn off your air conditioner when you leave your room.
Be environmentally conscious and conserve energy.
Clean up the kitchen after use and wash the dishes.
Use the recycling containers located at the entrance to the pool.

Important information

There are no banks or automated teller machines (ATM) in Manzanillo.
You will need to withdraw the money you need before you arrive in Manzanillo.
There are two stores in Manzanillo that have almost everything you need on vacation.
The selection may not be as large as you are used to, but they have many different products and fresh foods.
If you are looking for local activities, ask us at the front desk. We know many things which would be hard to find otherwise: Tours, surf lessons, yoga, massages, cooking classes, etc.
